My Story
My passion for programming began when I made my very first video game at 11 years old—in PowerPoint, using hyperlinks and animations to create a world that players could move in and interact with. Soon after starting high school, I was elected to be my class's student council treasurer. It was a simple job, occasionally entering a couple of number into a spreadsheet. To me, though, it was an opportunity to innovate once again with that same out-of-the-box thinking. I studied the intricacies of Excel and macros to create a system of automations, taking care of tasks like creating printed documents, voter verification for elections, and recording minutes for meetings. I got so good with Excel that I received 1st place in a national competition for it. This experience made me realize how many amazing ideas were being held back by people not taking advantage of the technology available to them, and started my shift toward IT. After graduating, I started a small business that continued these services for high schools called Club Docs. Soon after, I discovered homelabbing and narrowed my focus to networks. Now, I'm looking for new opportunities to exceed expectations.
